The Rehearsal Dinner
If you’ve included rehearsal dinner photo coverage, here are some things to keep in mind…
This is your time to be celebrated!
Amidst the chaos of a wedding weekend, the rehearsal dinner can feel like the only time a couple gets to truly connect with their loved ones! The wedding day will be busy and full of chaos, so try to enjoy this quality time together and with your people.
The Run-Through!
I’d love to include your actual wedding rehearsal too! These are often such fun memories to capture, plus it’ll give me preparation for your ceremony flow as well!
Candids are where it’s at!
We’ll have plenty of time for posed portraits on the big day; let me document you in your element, enjoying the evening all about you!
Don’t worry about me!
I’ll be following you around from afar, capturing moments and details; I’ll let you know if I think you should pose for something, but otherwise, just be present and enjoy yourselves!
However…
This is a good time to take photos with extended family or friends that are not specified during wedding day portraits. Keep it low pressure and just give me look when you’re gathered together catching up anyway, so I can grab that photo of you with your special people!
Special Events!
Let me know ahead of time if there will be any special events or moments during the evening I should be on the lookout for! Special gifts to give, surprise appearances, or maybe a flash mob?! (You can trust me with any surprises!)
